This is a neural network (an AI) that is trained on all of the hack names on SMWC, and can generate new ones based on it.
"Epoch" is how long the AI has trained for — the higher the epoch, the more realistic and predictable the output.
Epoch 1 is when training just began so the text it generates is almost random. By epoch 20 or so it learned to pick up on the patterns in hack names and reproduce them rather well.
These are not generated on the fly, but chosen at random from a huge list of pre-generated names.
